It has been a hectic time since the last post, but I’m ready. Probably the biggest excitement of the weekend was the three additional shelving units that we installed into some found space in the shop. (Thanks, Adam) We moved the cutting table and voila had a corner that will let our fabric selection breathe a little. There is space on the shelves again, so taking a bolt out doesn’t require a crowbar. It is beneficial to have waited almost three months to make this adjustment. Using a space certainly defines it better. And with the new collections, starting to arrive, we can just enjoy the potential sewing projects that will come about.
My quilt for the NSQG show is down to the binding and label. I’ve been sneaking in my own sewing here and there.
People have dropped by with finished quilts, etc. and I’ve managed a photo here and there.
Several Riley Blake bolts have just arrived. Just in time for April Showers. Rainy Days and Mondays in the white background in stock now.
Art Gallery Fabrics are in transit.
April 1: We’ll have some photos about the Martha Stewart Book Launch Event at her headquarters. The Quilter’s Alley is invited to demonstrate embroidery and sewing her new embroidery patterns into a quilt for 350 invited guests. (Pictures to follow) We will be offering a give-away of the new book.
